We will hand carve the name of the pew (could be the books of the Bible, Apostles, Disciples, Saints, a male or a female carving) right into the carving to identify that pew.

Instead of saying, "you are in the 4th row, the 9th pew", you can say, "Your party is in the Matthew pew or the Luke pew".
